More Than 15 Million Copies Sold

A review by Chase Harris:

With over 15 millions copies sold, Dale Carnegie nailed it with this book. What I gain from this book is to NOT do the typical thing that a person would do. Do not think and do what the masses do. You have to be smarter and be a thinker in every situation. It important for you to realize that the power you need to accomplish your goals in already in your possession. This power is located in your mind!

Since its release in 1936, How to Win Friends and Influence People has sold more than 15 million copies. Dale Carnegie’s first book is a timeless bestseller, packed with rock-solid advice that has carried thousands of now famous people up the ladder of success in their business and personal lives.

If you want a promotion on your job, you can get it. If you want to open your own business, you can do it. Your thoughts manifest your reality. My favorite part of the book is about criticism. People often offer “constructive criticism” that is not constructive or positive at all although they may think it is. The reality of the situation is instead of criticizing someone, applaud their good habits and show them what it is you want them to do. Trust me, you will love this section in the book. It applies to professional and personal life. It can help with co-workers, marriages, and parenting.

As relevant as ever before, Dale Carnegie’s principles endure, and will help you achieve your maximum potential in the complex and competitive modern age. Learn the six ways to make people like you, the twelve ways to win people to your way of thinking, and the nine ways to change people without arousing resentment.

My challenge to you is to read 25 pages of a book a day until completion. It is also a great idea to take notes while reading this book as well.
